    Re: URL-GT3 Season 1 - Round 5 - Silverstone (December 22th)

Because of bugs introduced with the last update, the race will be held tonight without pitstop.

Instead of the drive-through, who will perform 5 consecutive cuts will be penalized 20 seconds on race time.

Again the use of the pitlane and the pit tonight is prohibited, those who enter the pitlane you will find the car stuck because of the bug.

This means we have halved the fuel and tyre wear settings to 1x and 0.7x.

Thanks to everyone who stuck out the season... i think we all agree this was a useful test for AC in the long term, and from next season onwards we can start to fulfill the potential there

I have some plans for league advertising which i expect will help us attract extra drivers, and this will go into place in the new year.

    Now I've got time;)...

Just watched the replay, that was a good race, close fighting in front.
    Miguel defending like a boss
That Nissan is mighty once on a straight

    Re: URL-GT3 Season 1 - Round 5 - Silverstone (December 22th)

I was a bit disappointed with the attendace yesterday and at the last moment we decided to shorten the race to 15 laps because of this and the pit stop bug.
In the end I felt the race was too short for all of us as the battles were far from over. Podium finished within 1.6s of each other and Sando and Manlio were also within 1 second at the chequered flag.

After a long a time a short race report from me.

I qualified second, but the lap was far from perfect. I should've beaten Reinhard with no weight for sure.
I had the perfect start as I shifted into first exactly at the right moment. This put me on the inside and side by side with Reinhard into T1.
I could keep P1 through the first corners. Reinhard and me put about 1-2s between us and Greg, but we were battling a lot which cost us some time. I was trying to slow Reinhard down on corner exit as the McLaren is lacking straight line speed. This combined with better brakes allowed me to defend quite easily to Reinhards attacks, and also allowed Greg to get back close to make it a three way battle.
Meanwhile I saw that Sando and Manlio were also in a big fight.
Greg joined the fun and Reinhard was in the sandwich. With the Nissan straight line speed Greg could get passed Reinhard and I had 1s breathing space. Then Reinhard went back passed, but Greg managed to retake 2nd. This was all in the last 4 laps or so.

It was great racing, no incident at the start and I think even no touches at all for the whole race. Very will driven all of you and thanks for joining.
    See you next season!

    Re: URL-GT3 Season 1 - Round 5 - Silverstone (December 22th)

Yes it was a real shame because of lack of attendance.
This allowed me to stay in front, however, buahahahahahahha
I had the race pace / speed of the other, even though I was not yet very far.
At the beginning of the race I had a bit of concern in the early stages of the fight with Greg and Manlio and I had not yet familiar with the brakes and tires.
After Greg exceeded Manlio and also I passed, hoping to attack Greg to pull me a little, but now the gap was too much to catch up.
From mid-race onwards Manlio has found the right rhythm and I was stuck like a leech, fortunately Godzilla could make me breathe a bit between a curve and the other.
See you next season, we will have a tighter schedule, so I hope that the shares are numerous and constant.
